I used to be a tennis coach for children ages 6-13. A lot of the parents of those children would ask if I was considering being a teacher in the future because they noticed how I enjoy interacting with the children. This definitely planted the seed of thought that maybe I can work with young children in the future.
The genuine curiosity and wonder that children hold about the world around them. There is so much that they do not know yet but they are so excited to explore all these wonders!
I hope that they will remember the times that we laughed together! We share so many moments where we are giggling and making jokes, and I hope that these moments where they feel safe, heard and happy will stay with them as they grow!
Outside of the classroom I am very active. I’ll either be in the dance studio, hiking up mountains or on an airplane off to explore some new part of the world!
